Thoughts on Priesthood:

I view the Priesthood as a very important role in society that is often overlooked. Priests are God's gift to the world to continue spreading his word and tradition. Priest act as another Christ and are here to serve the people and sacrifice a lot to make sure that we all go to heaven.

Why I want to be a Priest:

I want to become a Priest because I feel that I am being called to serve the Lord and his people through this way. The thought of becoming a priest scared me when i was younger and found myself trying to avoid it and as I grew older the thought was still there and I found myself picturing the priest celebrating the mass as myself and I felt happy doing it through God's grace. I have always felt the the church as being  second home and felt really comfortable at the Cathedral and the people there. I also had a personal relationship with my parish priests and saw what great guys they were and wanted to be like them.

Hobbies & Interests:

I like to play rugby, football, soccer, lift weights and boxing. I also like to go boating, wake-boarding and hang out with friends.

Tell us about your family as you grew up and when you started thinking about being a priest:

My family has always been big on participating in the church. We went to mass every sunday as a family and tried our best to get involved. My sisters and I started altar serving the day we could at the age of 10. My mom has been a religious education teacher for 13 years and continues to do it.

What inspires you about the priesthood?

I am inspired to share God's love as a Priest. I can only imagine how great it would feel to help work for the Lord and have him work through me to help people. Just the idea of being there to help people inspires me to pursue priesthood. I also thank my Youth group leader Brandon Harvey for helping me better understand the priesthood and solidifying my decision.

Who have been your hero's and what has been your influences?

My heros have always been my parents. They work extremely hard to give us the best and sacrifice a lot for us. Everything that they do is for us which I really have learned to appreciate. I am inspired by my parents on how they volunteer in the church and take time out of their schedule to serve the Lord by teaching the youth and distributing the Eucharist.
