The "Vianney Visit" is a program that provides young men (high school sophomores through college - ages 16-22) a chance to see what life at a College Seminary is all about. During the visit you'll attend classes at the University of St. Thomas and also attend Mass, daily prayer and hang out with our current seminarians. This is an ideal way for young men who are considering a vocation to the priesthood to reflect further on their vocations, to experience the life of the seminary first-hand and to get to know some of the guys who attend the seminary and the expectations of seminary life that they meet.
Vianney Visits are held at Saint John Vianney College Seminary, located on the campus of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. All you need to attend is to pre-register and to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow. If you have any questions, contact Fr. Brad, Vocation Director for the Diocese of Sioux City at (712) 233-7523 or Mary at the St. John Vianney Seminary at (651) 962-6825. Vianney Visits are free, but space is limited.
