Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, the State of Iowa Seminarians Convocation is an annual gathering in August of seminarians from the entire state of Iowa for prayer, fellowship, reflection and social interaction. Hosted by the dioceses of Dubuque, Davenport, Des Moines and Sioux City, the location of this event rotates among the four dioceses.  This year everyone will meet in Davenport!

Beyond collegiality and prayer, the Convocation also brings in speakers to address issues and topics pertinent to the life and ministry of the seminarians/future priests that are not usually covered in depth in the seminary or are of special concern for ministry in the State of Iowa.
