Project Andrew is a terrific opportunity for young men, parents and other interested individuals to learn more about vocations, how to discern a vocation, and the holy priesthood.
This is a relaxed setting in which young men join other guys (sophomore in high school or older) from the Sioux City Diocese who are exploring their options as they finish school and look to live out their Catholic faith. Hosted by the Office of Vocations, Bishop Nickless and priests from across the Diocese share their own call stories, fears, and ultimately the rewards of being ordained a priest for Jesus Christ. Project Andrew is free and begins at 5:30 PM with a prayer service, followed by dinner, short talks and video presentations on the priesthood, the sharing of priestly experiences, remarks by Bishop Nickless and time for questions and answers. The event always concludes by 8:00 PM. | Upcoming Events |
